Baked with love in Port Orange, Florida
Hi, I'm Amber
I'm the baker, dipper, decorator, and hand-tied-ribbon person behind Sweet Shore Bakery.
Every treat that leaves my kitchen is made fresh to order. Nothing sits on a shelf waiting to be bought. When you place an order, that's when the ovens turn on, the chocolate gets melted, and your colors and theme come to life — which is why every box opens like it was made just for you. Because it was.
What I make
Handcrafted cake pops, chocolate-covered Oreos and pretzels, rice crispy treats, fresh-dipped chocolate-covered strawberries, gourmet cookies, and banana bread — available individually or in decorated bundles built around your celebration. Birthdays, baby showers, weddings, office parties, or a Tuesday that deserves something sweet.
Every order is decorated to match your occasion: your color palette, your theme, your moment. If you can picture it, chances are I can dip it, drizzle it, or sprinkle it.
The fresh-to-order difference
I keep my order calendar intentionally small so that everything is made the way it should be — strawberries dipped the same day you receive them, cookies pulled from the oven hours before pickup, cake pops hand-rolled and hand-dipped one at a time. It takes a little more planning (most orders need a few days' notice), but you can taste the difference in every bite.
A little about me
When I'm not covered in chocolate and sprinkles, you'll probably find me watching the sky. I'm a meteorology student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, studying the science behind Florida's famous afternoon thunderstorms, sea breezes, and everything else our coastal skies throw at us. Weather and baking might sound like an odd pair, but honestly? Both are about patience, precision, and knowing exactly when the timing is right.
My husband Joseph and I recently made Port Orange home, and we couldn't love it more. Rounding out our little family is Juliet, our Shiba Inu — the self-appointed quality control supervisor who monitors every bake from a safe (and strictly enforced) distance. She has never once been given a cake pop, and she has never once stopped trying.
Baking started for me as a way to bring people together, and it still is. There's something about handing someone a box of treats made just for them — their colors, their theme, their celebration — that never gets old.

Thank you for supporting a small, local, home-based bakery run by a wife, a student, and a dog mom chasing her dreams (and occasionally chasing storms). Every order truly means the world.
